Key Features of the HUADA SBMA-KFD2 Connector
Supply: Connection: You can power the SBMA-KFD2 via the power rail or terminals 14+ and 15-. The rated voltage (Ur) ranges from 20 to 35 V DC, with ripple staying within the supply tolerance. The connector can handle a power dissipation of 1.8 W and consumes 2.4 W.
Input: Connection Side (Field Side): Terminals 1+, 2-, 3, or 5-, 6+ are where the input signal comes in. The SBMA-KFD2 supports 0/4 … 20 mA input signals. Open circuit voltage/short-circuit current is 22.7 V / 38 mA (terminals 1+, 3-). The input resistance varies: max. 76 Ω (terminals 2-, 3) and max. 500 Ω (terminals 1+, 3) with a 250 Ω load. Available voltage is ≥ 16 V at 20 mA (terminals 1+, 3).
Output:
Connection Side (Control Side): Terminals 7-, 8+, 9; 10-, 11+, 12 handle the output. The SBMA-KFD2 can drive a load of 0 … 550 Ω at 20 mA. Its output signal is 0/4 … 20 mA (overload > 25 mA), with ripple capped at max. 50 μA rms. The transfer characteristics deviation at 20 °C (68 °F) for 0/4 … 20 mA is ≤ 10 μA, considering calibration, linearity, hysteresis, and supply voltage fluctuations.
Galvanic Isolation: The SBMA-KFD2 ensures functional insulation between output/power supply and output/output, with a rated insulation voltage of 50 V AC.
Ambient Conditions: Operating temperature ranges from -20 to 60 °C (-4 to 140 °F).
Mechanical Specifications: The connector boasts an IP20 degree of protection, screw terminals, and a mass of approximately 200 g. Its dimensions are 20 x 124 x 115 mm (0.8 x 4.9 x 4.5 inches), housing type B2.
